Celebrating My 35th Birthday!

I got myself a ticket to the Coldplay concert for my birthday... luckily I had 5 wonderful friends wanting to see Coldplay as well so I didn't have to go alone! :)

Before the show they treated me for a fabulous dinner at Craft... a restaurant in W Hotel.

Still... Coldplay sounded great and we all had a blast!

End of Fall Soccer Season

Today was Emily's last soccer game of the fall season. All of the grandparents and Aunt Sissy came out to help us cheer her on. Grandma and Grandpa Simon even brought along Madison and Matthew!

Before the game we had a picnic lunch and some play time at the park.
Grandpa was in charge of Matthew for the day... no doubt they will both sleep well tonight... especially Grandpa!

Happy Halloween!

We had such a blast this Halloween and the weather could not have been more perfect! The only flaw was that poor Wayne had a broken foot. He was able to do quite a bit of trick-or-treating, but couldn't hold out for as long as the girls wanted... so he went home and we continued a bit longer.

We were so excited to start Halloween that we had are costumes on well before night fall. So the girls ran a few races to pass the time. Of course, Bat Girl won over Bumble Bee every time... even with the late start! :)

After trick-or-treating, we drove over to trick-or-treat at one last house... Granmama and Daddy D's!

We then went out for a late Tex-Mex dinner! It was such a great night... I wish Halloween was always on a Friday!

Megan's Class Halloween Party

Megan was pretty excited to wear her costume to school for their Halloween Party! The school also had a Fall Fest with a bounce house, games and face painting... but I only came for the last hour of the classroom party.

After enjoying pizza and cupcakes, the kids got to wrap each other up like mummies! Megan didn't want to be a mummy that day. :(
